Get ready for the Americas Challengers tournament, where teams will battle it out for a prize pool of $75,000. The competition will take place at the Riot Games Arena (CBLOL Arena) in São Paulo, Brazil, featuring six of the top teams from the Americas tier 2 scene. It’s important to note that this tournament won’t impact the 2025 guest slots in the new Americas League, which combines North America and South America into one major region.
Americas Challengers – Overview
The tournament will span from September 14 to September 21, leading up to the League of Legends 2024 World Championship. Teams will compete in a single round-robin best-of-one Group Stage, with the top four advancing to a double-elimination Knockout Stage. Matches will be Bo3, except for the Finals and Lower Bracket Round 2, which will be Bo5. A unique feature of the tournament is the “fearless draft” mode, where champions can only be picked once in a series.
