In modern gaming, cheat codes have been largely replaced by mods, especially in Bethesda games like Starfield and Fallout 4, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still use cheats and console commands to enhance your gaming experience. Even though Fallout 4 is showing its age, you can still use some good old-fashioned cheats to spice things up in the wasteland. How to Enter Cheats
PC players can activate cheats at any time by pressing the ~ key to open the console menu, where you can enter any of the cheats below to trigger their associated effects.
Player Cheats
- tgm — Toggles god mode.
- tcl — Toggles collision.
- tfc — Activates free camera.
Item Cheats
- player.additem 0000000f [insert number here] — Adds bottle caps equal to the number you specify.
- player.additem 0000000a [insert number here] — Adds bobby pins equal to the number you specify.
World and NPC Cheats
- coc [cell id] – Teleports the player to an area.
- unlock– Unlocks any door you have targeted.
