Adult Swim Games, now under the ownership of Warner Bros. Discovery, has decided to remove several of its games from Steam. Titles like Zenzizenzic, Traverser, Super House of Dead Ninjas, and Mega Coin Squad will no longer be available on the platform starting July 15.
The decision was communicated through a statement posted on each game’s page, as reported by PCGamesN. The message indicated that Adult Swim Games would no longer serve as the publisher, and the developers were unable to take over the management of the page, leading to the delisting of the games.
Adult Swim is no longer able to continue as the publisher for this game, and the developer is not available to take over as the publisher at this time. As a result, [game title inserted] will be shut down on July 15, 2024.
Thanks for playing.

The studio behind Super House of Dead Ninjas, Megadev (now Bitmap Bureau), expressed interest in repurchasing the IP rights for the game but has yet to receive a response from Warner Bros. The original developers of Zenzizenzic, Mega Coin Squad, and Traverser are no longer operational.
Back in March, Adult Swim titles began to be delisted, causing concerns among developers. In an interview with Polygon, affected developers shared their experiences with Warner Bros. Discovery. Some developers, like Michael Molinari of Soundodger+, faced challenges in transferring ownership back to them. However, the situation for games like Soundodger+ and Small Radios, Big Televisions was resolved in May when Warner Bros. Discovery reversed its decision and returned ownership to the developers.
Adult Swim Games, known for its unique catalog, was essentially dormant after its last release, Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, in 2020. While the website remains active, there have been no updates since then.
Meanwhile, Warner Bros. Discovery continues its gaming endeavors with a focus on established IP and live service games like MultiVersus, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and Hogwarts Legacy.
