Lil Snack, a consumer games platform, has successfully raised $3.1 million in funding to develop snackable games.
Co-founded by Eric Berman and Travis Chen, the company plans to utilize the newly acquired funds to create an AI-powered pop culture trivia game platform. This platform will feature six playable games daily, with four mainline titles available to all users and two exclusive games for Amazon Prime members.
Supported by prominent investors including Lerer Hippeau, Waverley Capital, A16Z Games Speedrun, and Powerhouse Capital, Lil Snack has experienced impressive growth, with over 100% organic growth month-over-month for several consecutive months.
Revolutionizing the Gaming Experience
In an interview with GamesBeat, co-founder Travis Chen explains, “Our users engage with our games daily, which are designed to reflect current events and trends. We aim for our games to resonate with the cultural pulse of society.”
“At Lil Snack, we believe that consumers want to actively participate, not passively observe. Our platform offers a fresh entertainment experience that merges gaming with contemporary culture,” added Berman.
The AI development tools at Lil Snack feature generative art for puzzles, custom technology for game modes, and advanced engineering. Despite having a small team of only four members, the company prioritizes strategic partnerships over traditional marketing methods, collaborating with Amazon Prime and BuzzFeed for game distribution.
