Apple’s iPhone 15 lineup has proven to be one of the most significant refreshes in quite some time. There are some subtle design changes all around and a whole lot to love.
Though this year’s biggest improvements are found in the iPhone 15 Pro Max, not everyone wants to use the biggest phone there is. Fortunately, the regular iPhone 15 Pro is still quite capable in its own right.
About our iPhone 15 Pro review
Our iPhone 15 Pro review was originally published on October 9, 2023, following a little over a week of testing. It was updated by Christine Romero-Chan on October 30, 2023, to include the “one month later” section. On March 28, Christine updated the review with a “six months later” section.
iPhone 15 Pro: one month later
I’ve been using the iPhone 15 Pro as my daily driver for over a month now. Overall, a month later, I’m still enjoying the iPhone 15 Pro quite a bit. The switch over to titanium has been one of the best choices Apple has made in some time. The Action button remains one of my favorite new hardware features. The camera quality has improved significantly with Smart HDR 5. Charging speeds with USB-C could be better, but overall, the iPhone 15 Pro has been serving me well in day-to-day usage.
iPhone 15 Pro: six months later
The iPhone 15 Pro has continued to be my primary phone for the past six months. Despite a few minor issues, the iPhone 15 Pro remains a solid choice as a daily driver. The lightweight material and ergonomic design have made it comfortable to use for prolonged periods. The Action button continues to be a convenient feature, and the camera quality has impressed me with its natural and accurate colors. The battery life could be better, but the overall performance has been reliable.
