If you enjoy games like Wordle, Connections, and the Mini Crossword, you’ll find Strands to be a delightful but sometimes tricky challenge. Don’t hesitate to seek help when needed. If you’re stuck, check out the solved puzzle below for today’s answers.
How to play Strands
To play Strands, your objective is to discover the “theme words” hidden within the letter grid. You can manipulate letters by dragging or tapping to form words. Double-tap the last letter of a word to confirm it. Correctly found words will be highlighted in blue and become unselectable.
Even if you find words that aren’t part of the theme, they still contribute. For every three non-theme words of at least four letters each, you’ll receive a hint – revealing the letters of one of the theme words for you to unscramble.
All letters in the grid are used to spell out the theme words without any overlapping. Each letter is used only once and every letter is utilized.
Additionally, each puzzle includes a “spangram” – a special word or words related to the theme that span two opposite sides of the board. Once found, the spangram will be highlighted in yellow.
Your goal should be to complete the puzzle swiftly while using minimal hints.
