Guilty Gear Strive has released another patch, Update 1.29, bringing new features to the game. The launch of a brand-new Season for Guilty Gear Strive was announced at the GGS tournament at EVO 2023, with the first character arriving quickly in the latest patch.

Guilty Gear Strive Patch Notes – V1.35 Update
The latest Guilty Gear Strive patch notes are in! Version 1.35 introduces exciting new additions to the game, with the highlight being the addition of the new character, A.B.A. This character is available for purchase individually or as part of the season pack.
In addition to A.B.A, the update includes the A.B.A theme Symphony, avatar items, a DLC stage, and BGM in gallery mode.

The recent Game Awards 2023 revealed a new character in Guilty Gear Strive patch notes. Elphelt Valentine joins the game as a DLC character, available for standalone purchase or as part of the Season 3 Pass.
Along with Elphelt Valentine, the update includes Elphelt Valentine theme, avatar items, and BGM in gallery mode.

The visuals of the lobby have been updated with a new Africa region, player count indicator, and quality-of-life improvements such as following, blocking, and reporting players directly.
