Amazon Web Services and the WAX blockchain have partnered to make integrating Web3 functions effortless for developers.
As part of this collaboration, Amazon Managed Blockchain will now support WAX’s suite of Web3 tools. WAX, previously known as the Worldwide Asset Exchange, is a blockchain ecosystem for gaming and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
Amazon Managed Blockchain (AMB) is a fully managed service aimed at helping developers build resilient, decentralized applications (dApps) on public and private blockchains. It provides instant and serverless access to multiple decentralized networks, eliminating the need for specialized infrastructure deployment.
Previously, developers interested in Web3 functionality had to set up their nodes manually or use existing node providers, relinquishing some control over their infrastructures. Now, with the integration into AMB, developers can deploy their WAX nodes with just a few clicks through the AWS console.

With this integration, WAX offers developers a streamlined deployment process for experimenting and building on the WAX blockchain, including interaction with mainnet and testnets.
Additionally, WAX provides studios and companies with a range of tools and solutions to simplify Web3 development, such as the Cloud Wallet, single-sign-on (SSO) and OAUTH, a native random number generation service, a developer portal, a cross-chain bridge, and a blockchain explorer.
According to Lukas Sliwka, CTO at WAX, the partnership with Amazon Web Services marks a significant step towards Web3 mass adoption, making it easier for developers to build applications on the WAX blockchain or integrate decentralized features into existing projects.
By becoming an official Amazon Solutions Provider, WAX can assist developers in navigating the complexities of Web3 development and accelerating the adoption of blockchain technology across various industries.
WAX’s collaboration with AWS aligns with their mission to enhance the usability of blockchain technology in gaming, e-commerce, and digital collectibles trading. With over 140 Web3 games on the platform and millions of transactions facilitated, WAX continues to drive innovation in the blockchain space.
This partnership with AWS expands WAX’s reach further, with projects like Brawlers gaining exposure on Amazon Prime Gaming, demonstrating the platform’s versatility and appeal to a wide range of users.
