After the conclusion of day two at the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, we have the first teams securing their spots in the Elimination Stage, while others are on their way home.

Heroic and Cloud9 Shine

Just as predicted, Heroic and Cloud9 emerged as the 3:0 teams, securing their spots in the Elimination Stage. Heroic faced a tough challenge against Eternal Fire but delivered a solid performance, with standout player sjuush leading the way. Cloud9 also had a strong showing against a formidable SAW team, with Perfecto standing out in key moments.

Early Departures

On the flip side, AMKAL and Movistar KOI faced early exits from the Major. Despite their efforts, they were unable to secure victories to continue in the tournament. AMKAL put up a tough fight against TheMongolZ but fell short in the end. Meanwhile, Movistar KOI struggled against a dominant FURIA roster, ending their Major journey prematurely.
