Esports data infrastructure platform Grid is set to launch the Rainbow Six Siege Data Portal in the near future. The R6DP will offer esports match data to professional teams participating in the Blast R6 esports ecosystem. Access will commence in the upcoming weeks during Stage 1 of the R6 2024 Season, leading into the forthcoming R6 Manchester Major, scheduled for May 16-26.
David Parent, senior manager of global esports business development at Ubisoft, expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing the importance of providing professional teams with access to accurate and reliable data for a data-driven esports ecosystem.
Powering data-driven esports
The R6DP will grant professional esports teams access to vital match information to assist coaches and players. Instead of individual teams having to set up systems for ingesting and accessing in-game data, the R6DP simplifies access across the Rainbow Six Siege competitive landscape.
Having accurate in-game match data can enable teams to make informed decisions when evaluating player performance or analyzing in-game strategies. The R6DP includes an analytics console, downloadable data files, documentation, tutorials, and user support.

Moritz Mauer, founder and CEO of Grid, expressed pride in the partnership with Ubisoft and the opportunity to enhance esports experiences through access to official match data for professional teams in Rainbow Six Siege.
Grid and R6 esports partnership
The R6DP is a result of Grid’s ongoing partnership with Ubisoft as the exclusive esports data platform for Rainbow Six esports. The collaboration began in October 2023, with commercial partners gaining data access for the 2023 Blast R6 Atlanta Major.
Rainbow Six Siege has experienced a resurgence in recent years, evolving from a criticized launch in 2015 to a thriving esport. Grid’s previous work includes data portals for Valorant and League of Legends, solidifying its position as a key player in data-driven esports partnerships.
Attending the Game Developers Conference this weekend, Grid invites attendees to visit their booth at S568.
