Connections is the newest puzzle game offered by the New York Times. This game challenges players to categorize a set of 16 words into four secret groups by identifying the relationships between them. The puzzle resets daily at midnight, with varying levels of difficulty for each new challenge. Similar to Wordle, players can track their winning streaks and compare scores with friends.

How to play Connections
In Connections, you’ll be presented with a grid of 16 words. Your goal is to group these words into four sets of four by identifying the connections between them. These connections could be related to video game franchises, book series sequels, shades of red, or chain restaurant names, among others.
While some words may seem to fit multiple themes, there is only one correct answer. You can shuffle the word grid to better visualize potential connections.
Each group is color-coded, with yellow being the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple. Select four words and click Submit. If correct, the words will be removed, and the connecting theme will be revealed. Each incorrect guess counts as a mistake, and players have four mistakes before the game ends.
