SpaceX has released a series of breathtaking photos from a launch rehearsal for the third test flight of its Starship vehicle, which includes the first-stage Super Heavy booster and the upper-stage Starship spacecraft.
According to SpaceX’s social media post on Monday, “Starship completed its rehearsal for launch, loading more than 10 million pounds of propellant on Starship and Super Heavy and bringing the countdown to T-10 seconds.”

The rehearsal occurred at SpaceX’s Starbase facility in Boca Chica, Texas, shortly after the FAA concluded its investigation into SpaceX’s second Starship test flight. The hope now is to get the Starship spacecraft into orbit for the first time.
Once clearance is received from the FAA, the 395-feet-tall Super Heavy will blast off with 33 Raptor engines generating 17 million pounds of thrust, surpassing the power of any other rocket.
Future missions involving the Starship could include human voyages to Mars, potentially in the 2030s.
