Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. Your task is to categorize a pool of 16 words into four secret groups by figuring out their relationships. The puzzle resets every night at midnight with varying levels of difficulty. Just like Wordle, you can track your winning streak and compete with friends.
If you find today’s Connections puzzle challenging, check out our tips and hints below. If you still can’t solve it, the answers are provided at the end of the post.
How to play Connections
In Connections, you’ll see a grid of 16 words that you need to organize into four sets of four by identifying the connections between them. These connections could be related to video game titles, book sequels, shades of red, chain restaurant names, and more.
Some words may seem to fit multiple themes, but there is only one correct answer. You can shuffle the words on the grid to help identify potential connections.
Each group is color-coded; yellow is the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple. Select four words and click Submit. If correct, the words will be removed, revealing the connecting theme. Four incorrect guesses end the game.
