For fans of classic merge games, the combination of two things always results in something better.
Game industry professionals in San Francisco have reason to celebrate as two epic independent game shows are joining forces this year to create a new, larger event on March 18-19th.
Building upon the success of our legendary London event in January, our upcoming event – Pocket Gamer Connects San Francisco – was already set to be a successful return to the city. Now, with the agreement to merge with Game Connection America, the event has been taken to the next level.
Attendees of PG Connects will also have access to the full MeetToMatch: San Francisco Edition for a week – a perfect merge 3!
PG Connects + Game Connection = One essential event
PG Connects San Francisco x Game Connection America will combine the best content and opportunities from both shows, providing two days of engaging track content covering industry trends, fundraising, game developer tools, and more. There will be insights on growth, monetization, AI, and other future technologies that will shape the industry.
With over 75 industry experts delivering talks, including representatives from top-grossing mobile games such as Scopely, King, Tencent Games, Zynga/Take 2, Samsung, Netflix, and more, attendees are in for a treat.
Aside from sessions, the expo will feature representatives from leading platforms, publishers, and developers, with strong regional representations and Indie Zone showcasing innovative small companies.
Facilitating Business
Business meetings are central to the event, with over 750 professional delegates available for connections at the meeting tables, managed through the MeetToMatch platform. The platform allows for seamless communication, scheduling, and networking opportunities.
Furthermore, delegates can expand their network by connecting with the MeetToMatch: San Francisco Edition registrants, arranging meetings throughout the week.
Additional Opportunities
Aside from meetings, the combined event offers various opportunities for connections through fringe events like the Very Big Indie Pitch, Publisher-Developer SpeedMatch, UK Games Showcase, and networking parties.
All of this will take place at the historic Hibernia venue, conveniently located near Union Square and Moscone, providing attendees with a memorable experience.
By merging the best of both worlds, we aim to make PG Connects San Francisco x Game Connection America an indispensable part of the games industry calendar and GDC trip in March.
