Intel unveiled its latest advancements in AI technology at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024, showcasing new AI-focused platforms, solutions, and services.
Among the highlights were the new Intel vPro processors for enterprise PCs, designed to deliver enhanced AI processing capabilities. This announcement comes on the heels of Intel’s recent event focusing on contract chip manufacturing through its Intel Foundry business.
During the event, over 65 of Intel’s key customers and partners demonstrated cutting-edge systems and solutions across hardware, software, and services to drive innovation and transformation in future infrastructure.
One key reveal was the future Intel Xeon processor, codenamed Granite Rapids-D, featuring integrated AI acceleration and undergoing validation with key partners.

Intel also collaborated with 5G core software suppliers to unveil its next-gen Intel Xeon processor for 5G core, known as Sierra Forest, showcasing a 2.7 times improvement in performance per rack.
Furthermore, Intel introduced the Intel Edge Platform, an open and modular software platform enabling enterprises to deploy and manage edge and AI solutions with ease. The latest Intel vPro platform was also showcased, extending AI benefits to commercial designs.
