In Helldivers 2, server issues have emerged as a major problem for some players, overshadowing the bugs and robots. Imagine gearing up with the best weapons and a ready crew, only to be foiled by an error message stating that the servers are at capacity. While some errors have workarounds, the same cannot be said for this specific issue.
Can you fix the servers at capacity error?
Regrettably, the servers at capacity error in Helldivers 2 is beyond your control. The issue stems from the game’s overwhelming popularity, which has caused the servers to struggle. According to a statement from developer Arrowhead on its official Discord: “Our team is working around the clock to solve these issues. While we’ve been able to mitigate some of the causes, we are still struggling to keep up with the scaling that is needed to accommodate all our Helldivers. Therefore, we’ve had to cap our concurrent players to around 450,000 to further improve server stability. We will continue to work with our partners to get the ceiling raised.”
Unfortunately, if you encounter this message, your only recourse is to wait for space to become available on the server or until Arrowhead increases the number of players it can host.
