Nitro Games has recently announced a new deal with Unity’s publishing solution Supersonic, making them the publisher for the mobile game Autogun Heroes. The deal includes the responsibilities of user acquisition and promotion on iOS and Android, relieving Nitro Games of these tasks.
Despite being launched in June with Nitro Games as developer and publisher, Autogun Heroes will now be handled by Supersonic worldwide (excluding China). Supersonic has a portfolio of over three billion installs and offers access to performance metrics and data, which will allow Nitro Games to monitor the game’s stats closely. The initial agreement term is for five years.
Supersonic, known as a hypercasual publisher, is taking a new direction with Autogun Heroes, embracing a 3D shooter and platformer. Nitro Games CEO Jussi Tähtinen expressed excitement about this collaboration, noting Supersonic’s impressive capabilities in scaling up mobile games.
Autogun Heroes has shown promise with a successful soft launch and subsequent expansion to full release in 2023. With Supersonic’s assistance, the game is poised for further success, especially with the publisher’s KPI insights revamp last November.
Supersonic’s recent successes include “Build a Queen,” which amassed three million Android players within a month, and “Bridge Race,” the most downloaded hypercasual game in 2021 and 2022.
