AR/T House has unveiled its new Smart Avatars, an app-less augmented reality technology integrated with AI-powered content. The company also showcased a use case in Venice Beach, California featuring a hologram representation of historical figure Abbot Kinney, which allows users to engage and learn more about the area.
The Smart Avatars include a content management system and built-in AI capabilities, such as conversational and informational dialogue, as well as custom inputs. In the test case, the hologram of Abbot Kinney provides information about Venice Beach and can respond to user questions.
According to AR/T House, users have the ability to customize the avatar to fit any brand experience. The company has reported engagement with several brand partners using this new technology.
Justin Fredericks, CEO of AR/T House, stated, “By combining AR and AI, our smart avatar technology unlocks an opportunity greater than the sum of its parts. AI is the brain of the avatar; AR is its body. This combination brings information to life like never before. For the Abbot Kinney avatar, we are able to tell the story within the history of Venice Beach in a highly immersive, interactive format for all ages.”
