Absolutely Games and Team17 Digital have announced that the WWII-based strategy game, Classified: France ’44, will be released on March 5.
The tactical French Resistance game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Enthusiasts who pre-order the Overlord edition will have early access on February 29.
Classified: France ’44 puts players in the heart of Nazi-occupied France as they lead the Jedburghs, a special forces group working with the Resistance. The game features a unique turn-based tactics system and an extensive RPG system. The goal is to cause chaos behind enemy lines to support the D-Day invasion and liberate Western Europe.

Players have the ability to play missions in different orders and assemble a character set for each mission, adding to the game’s strategic depth. The campaign offers 15 different endings, allowing players to shape the outcome of the historic D-Day battle. Missions bring a historically authentic experience, encouraging players to use stealth, ambushes, morale tactics, and flanking to outsmart the enemy and support the Resistance.
