Get ready for the hunt! Monster Hunter Wilds is set to release early in 2025, and Capcom is offering an open beta for players to experience a taste of the action before the official launch. Participants in the beta will also have the opportunity to earn a special reward that can be claimed once the full game is released. This beta will be available on all platforms, with early access granted to a specific group. Progress made in the beta can be carried over to the main game.
How to Join the Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta
The Monster Hunter Wilds open beta is accessible to players of appropriate age based on their country’s ratings and those with a PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, or PC capable of running the game on Steam.
If you meet the requirements, visit this website to find links to the storefronts where you can download the beta once preloads become available.
The beta will officially start on all platforms at 8 p.m. PT on October 31 and end at 7 p.m. PT on November 3. However, players with a PS Plus subscription can access the beta early, starting at 8 p.m. PT on October 28.
Once all platforms have access to the beta, crossplay will be enabled, allowing players to hunt with friends on different consoles.
The beta will feature the full character creator, a story trial for the opening hours of the game, and the Doshaguma Hunt.
Monster Hunter Wilds Beta Bonuses
Players participating in the beta can earn two bonuses for the full Monster Hunter Wilds game: a pendant featuring a cute monster and an item pack containing various consumables.
