Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for PC now has an official release date. Insomniac Games revealed at New York Comic Con that the highly anticipated action-adventure game of 2023 will be arriving on Steam and the Epic Games Store on January 30, 2025.
The PC version will include all updates released for the game since its launch, including New Game Plus. It will also feature all 12 additional suits, including styles for the Symbiote suit, and new photo mode enhancements like action figure mode. Players will have the option to choose between the standard edition, containing the base game and updates, and the digital deluxe edition, offering exclusive suits, early unlocks, additional photo mode features, and enhanced ray tracing.

However, there is some disappointing news. In a PlayStation Blog post, Insomniac announced that there are no plans for additional story content.
“While we have no additional story content planned for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, we’re delighted to bring all of our previously released post-launch content to the PC version,” stated Insomniac’s senior community manager, Aaron Jason Espinoza.
Despite this, Insomniac has more in store for Spider-Man and Marvel. Following the release of Spider-Man 2, the studio faced a ransomware attack that exposed data on upcoming projects. Alongside the Wolverine game and two X-Men titles, there were plans for more Spider-Man game content, including a third game and a standalone Venom title.
