OG has officially confirmed their roster until at least the end of 2024, as announced yesterday (Oct. 19). The Dota 2 organization outlined some major changes, with long-time support and team captain Sébastien “Ceb” Debs temporarily stepping down from the roster.
Joining the roster in the Carry and Solo Mid positions are new additions Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon and Leon “Nine” Kirilin. They join existing players Adrián “Wisper” Dobles and Matthew “Ari” Walker in the three and four positions.
Yesterday’s announcement also revealed that Yap “xNova” Jian Wei and Maurice “KheZu” Gutmann would be joining the roster on a trial basis as five position support and coach, respectively. This trial period means that Ceb will be temporarily stepping away from his five position role.
xNova has established himself as one of the top dota 2 supports in the SEA region, having competed in The International with Royal Never Give Up in 2022 and Invictus Gaming in 2024. Now, he joins OG as part of their Western European roster.
KheZu, a seasoned Dota player who transitioned from Heroes of Newerth in 2015, will be joining as the team’s coach. He has also worked as an analyst and commentator, making appearances at The International, DreamLeague, and ESL events.
The announcement also stated that Indji “Shad” Lub will be standing in for OG during the RES Regional Champions event while 23savage finalizes his European visa. Shad, a Tier 2 carry, recently played for Tundra Esports during PGL Wallachia Season 2, helping them secure a third-place finish.
The roster reveal concluded with a message to fans: “We appreciate our fans’ support as we finalize our lineup for the upcoming season.” This confirmed roster marks the end, for now, of a turbulent post-TI roster shuffle for OG.
