Paramount+ has utilized generative AI to introduce new curated collections focused on children-first content for families. By leveraging generative AI technology, Paramount+ is able to highlight both new and classic shows that subscribers may not have seen before. These curated collections enhance the streaming experience for kids and their parents.
This innovative approach is driven by customer insights. Through direct communication with children and parents, Paramount+ identified specific themes within shows that resonate with their audience. These themes were then used to curate collections featuring programs such as Space Exploration, Goofy Stuff, Daring Stunts, Treasure Hunting, Secret Worlds, and Exploring Nature.
The kids-first content is now accessible on the “Older Kids” profiles across multiple platforms. These profiles cater to audiences aged six to 13. Once a kid’s profile is set up on Paramount+, only programs with corresponding ratings will be displayed to restrict inappropriate content.
To create an older kids profile on Paramount+, simply go to the top-right corner and select “Add Profile”. Enter your child’s name, turn on “Kids Mode”, choose “Older Kids”, and you’re good to go. Please note that older kids profiles feature programs rated TV-Y, G, TV-Y7, TV-Y7-FV, TV-G, TV-PG, and PG.
