Final Fantasy XIV is rolling out a new free login campaign starting today (Oct. 11) until the end of the month in a bid to welcome back former FFXIV players to Square Enix’s top-notch MMO. The news of this enticing campaign spread early Friday morning through various social media platforms.
During the period from Oct. 11 to Oct. 31, players who previously held a subscription but currently do not have an active one can enjoy up to 96 hours, equivalent to four days, of playtime within the next month. To be eligible for this free login offer, players must have been away from FFXIV for at least 30 days.

Once you log in to claim your free playtime, it will commence immediately and last until the end of the fourth day at 23:59 (GMT). Be mindful that if you log in later in the day, you may have slightly less than four full days of access. Following the expiration of the four-day period, reactivating your subscription will be necessary to continue your gameplay.
This free login opportunity applies to all game versions for which you had previously purchased a license, whether it be PC, Steam, PS4, or PS5.
Although four days may appear brief, if you’ve been absent for an extended period, there have been significant updates in Final Fantasy XIV, including graphical enhancements introduced with the Dawntrail release, an expanded storyline, new raids, and more.
Coming up later this month is the Moogle Treasure Trove Hunt for Goetia event, set to kick off from Oct. 15. During this event, players can unlock new cosmetic items, old favorite mounts, and minions via the Moogle Treasure Trove.
