Fortnite Mobile Set to Return to Android in 2025
Fortnite Mobile is poised to make a comeback on Android devices in the United States soon. The Google Play Store is expected to reintroduce the game in 2025, as reported by leaker ShiinaBR. While there is no concrete information regarding iOS, it is anticipated that iOS users will also have access to the game eventually. The return of Fortnite to the Google Play Store is projected to happen within the next two years, if not sooner.
Since August 2020, Fortnite has been absent from iOS devices, leaving players in the United States without access to the popular game. With Europe recently celebrating the game’s return, the United States is eagerly awaiting its own comeback.
In 2020, Epic Games sued Apple over their in-app purchasing policies, claiming that Apple’s methods were unfair as they took a cut of revenue that should have gone to Epic. The legal battle resulted in Apple being forced to revise their in-app purchasing policies as ruled by the court. However, as a consequence, Fortnite was removed from iOS devices and has not returned since. This may change very soon.
