Fortnite Confirms Rumored Fortnitemares Crossovers
As leaks and rumors continue to surface regarding the 2024 Fortnitemares season, some have been confirmed leading up to the official event. A new loading screen hints at the inclusion of Leatherface, Jigsaw, and a scary Marshmello-inspired character in the game.
While Jigsaw was somewhat confirmed through Saw TV teases, it’s now official that the horror icon will be getting a skin, as will Leatherface from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series.
Rumors of other characters like Ghostface from Scream and Jason Voorhees remain unconfirmed for now. However, as the event approaches, it’s possible that Epic Games may choose to add them to the game. Fortnitemares, being a yearly Halloween event, is expected to begin on October 15 and run through the end of the month in 2024.
Until the official start date, players can anticipate more leaks, rumors, and teases about additional characters joining Fortnite’s roster of horror-themed skins. Be on the lookout for the return of existing scary skins, whether original or collaborative, in the Item Shop over the coming weeks.
