Xbox is starting October with exciting additions to Game Pass. Two standout indie titles, Inscryption and Sifu, are set to join the lineup this month. Sifu, releasing on October 2, offers a unique twist in its third-person beat ’em up gameplay – every time you die, you are resurrected as an older version of yourself, providing new skills but with decreasing health. It’s a game about personal growth and becoming a kung fu master.
Another notable addition is Inscryption, a blend of deckbuilder, roguelike, and escape room genres set in a mysterious cabin. It’s a perfect choice for the Halloween season and will be available on Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Standard on October 10.
The biggest announcement in Tuesday’s reveal is the inclusion of MLB The Show 24 in Game Pass Standard, marking a shift in tier availability. The game will now be accessible to a wider audience, with the Ultimate tier still receiving new titles on day one. Open Roads is another title transitioning from Ultimate to Standard, both becoming available on October 2.
