Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. It challenges players to categorize a pool of 16 words into four secret groups by uncovering their relationships. The puzzle resets daily at midnight with varying difficulty levels, allowing players to track their streaks and compare scores with friends, akin to Wordle.
If you’re struggling with today’s puzzle, check out our helpful tips below. And if you still can’t solve it, the answers are provided at the end of the article.
How to play Connections
In Connections, you’ll encounter a grid of 16 words and your task is to organize them into four sets of four by identifying the connecting themes. These themes could range from titles of video game franchises to card game actions or cabinet departments. Shuffle the words on the grid to visualize the connections better.
Each group is color-coded for ease of identification, with yellow being the easiest followed by green, blue, and purple. Select four words and submit your answer. Correct answers will reveal the theme while incorrect guesses count as mistakes, with a limit of four mistakes before the game ends.
