The revamped LCS has had a strong start, with new features such as live-patch matches, streamlined game downtime, and improved fan interactions. This premier series is poised to offer better games and plays than ever before in North America.
Following two action-packed days of League, here are our top plays from Week 2 of the 2024 LCS season.
Blaber & Jojopyun’s Shockwave Delivery
During a match against long-time LCS staple Dignitas, C9’s Blaber and Jojopyun showcase their champion synergy with Nocturne and Orianna. As the two teams contest vision near the Baron pit, DIG make a fatal mistake by grouping too closely. Nocturne’s Paranoia is popped, The Ball is attached, and C9 score a four-man Shockwave. Top laner Fudge lands a devastating Equalizer follow-up, securing victory for C9.
huhi the Unkillable Support King
Once known as one of the best Aurelion Sol players, huhi now showcases his prowess as NRG’s support. In a clip from their match with FlyQuest, huhi is ambushed by a three-man attack but counter-engages on low health, earning his team a double kill.
Sniper’s Solo-Kill Debut
Youthful Riven-extraordinaire Sniper made waves during opening week and continues to shine. Facing off against NRG, Sniper secures a solo-kill from veteran top laner Dhokla, proving once again that he can battle with the best of them.
Here Comes Armao’s Lillia
During a difficult teamfight against Shopify Rebellion, Armao’s Lillia joins the fray, turning the tide of the battle. He secures a 3v5 victory for Immortals with well-placed abilities and strategic play.
Playing on the live patch has its benefits, and we hope week three delivers just as many exciting moments.
