The past week was packed with exciting gaming announcements, from Summer Game Fest to the Xbox Games Showcase and Ubisoft Forward. Many of the games revealed will also be coming to PlayStation 5. Furthermore, Sony’s Days of Play initiative is ongoing, resulting in the release of some classic PS2 games on PS4 and PS5 for the first time in years. With plenty of new titles available in the PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra catalog, there’s no shortage of options for gamers looking for something to play this weekend.
Three standout titles caught my attention. First is a game that has become a cornerstone franchise for PlayStation, now being reimagined as a Lego game for kids. Next, there’s a Dragon Ball game that surpasses the manga and anime it’s based on, serving as a fantastic complement to the upcoming Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero release. Finally, I highly recommend revisiting the PS2 classic that helped establish Sucker Punch Productions as a top-tier developer.
