Spotify has officially launched its new AI Playlist feature, allowing Spotify Premium subscribers in the U.S., Canada, Ireland, and New Zealand to generate personalized playlists using text prompts.
This feature was initially released in beta for Spotify Premium users in Australia and the U.K., utilizing generative AI to provide personalized playlist suggestions based on user input.
To access the AI Playlist feature, simply go to the “Your Library” section of the Spotify app on iOS or Android, tap the “+” symbol, and select the “AI Playlist” option. You can input text prompts such as “upbeat pop music for my European summer vacation” or “a romantic playlist for date night at home” to receive tailored song selections that match your desired vibe.
This feature generates a playlist of 30 songs based on your input, which you can modify, save, and share. It is currently available to Spotify Premium subscribers at a monthly cost of $12 for individuals, $17 for the Duo plan, and $20 for families.
