Sony’s new OLED gaming monitor, the InZone M10S, is a game-changer in the industry. Sporting a 480Hz refresh rate on a 1440p panel, this monitor is packed with features that set it apart from its competitors.
The M10S features a WOLED panel made by LG Display, known for its high-quality display technology. Sony has also made significant improvements to the monitor’s design, with a slim stand designed in collaboration with esports pros at Fnatic. The stand allows for 30 degrees of tilt, 4.7 inches of height adjustment, and 360 degrees of swivel.
One of the standout features of the M10S is DisplayPort 2.1 support, a highly anticipated addition for PC gamers. With this, you can enjoy 1440p resolution at 480Hz, offering a smooth and immersive gaming experience.
Additionally, the monitor boasts 1,300 nits of peak brightness, burn-in prevention features, and a unique FPS+ picture mode to cater to esports professionals. Sony also includes a 24.5-inch crop mode for competitive gamers, optimizing the panel’s native resolution.
However, Sony falls short in the warranty department, offering only a one-year warranty on the M10S compared to competitors with longer coverage. Despite this, the M10S is competitively priced at $1,100, making it a compelling option for gamers.
Alongside the M10S, Sony is also introducing the M9 II, a refresh of its original M9 model with improved features. While the M9 II offers a 160Hz refresh rate and similar design to the M10S, its $800 price tag may deter some consumers.
