Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. Your task is to categorize a pool of 16 words into four secret groups by identifying how the words relate to each other. The puzzle resets every night at midnight with varying difficulty levels. Just like Wordle, you can track your streak and compete with friends.
If you’re stuck on today’s puzzle, check out our tips and hints below. And if you still can’t solve it, the answers are provided at the end.
How to play Connections
In Connections, you’ll see a grid of 16 words and your goal is to organize them into four sets of four by identifying the connections between them. These connections could be titles of video game franchises, book series sequels, shades of red, etc.
There may be words that fit multiple themes, but only one is correct. You can shuffle the grid to better visualize the connections. Each group is color-coded with yellow being the easiest and purple the hardest.
Select four words and click Submit. If correct, the four words will be removed, revealing the theme. Incorrect guesses count as mistakes, with only four allowed.
