I’ve been using the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold for a few weeks now and am absolutely in love with it. It’s not perfect, but it manages to overcome many challenges of a big folding phone. The design, build quality, and screen are all top-notch, making it a great choice for entertainment and daily use.
Design
Google has nailed the design of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. With a slim profile and well-balanced weight, it feels comfortable to hold and use. The build is exceptional, and the hinge mechanism is smooth and silent. The only minor downside is the camera module, which could be more unique.
The phone’s thickness is impressive compared to other folding phones, but it is still on the heavier side at 257 grams. Overall, the design and construction of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold are top-notch.
Screens
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold features a stunning OLED display on the outside and a large Super Actua OLED screen when unfolded. The open screen is vibrant, sharp, and perfect for multimedia consumption. Gaming, video watching, and browsing are all delightful on this screen.
Despite the crease in the middle, the screen offers a seamless experience for most activities. The phone’s performance is smooth, and the display quality is excellent.
