Fortnite’s latest Marvel season has introduced new characters from various Marvel properties, along with revisiting some iconic characters already in the game. The latest addition is a new Iron Man skin, following the inclusion of Doctor Doom.
Fans have been eagerly anticipating Iron Man’s return, especially after the Iron Man Mythic weapon was teased in the season’s trailer. Speculation has been rife about the release of a new Iron Man skin, and it seems that anticipation will soon be rewarded.
Unlike Doctor Doom, who was initially part of a Battle Pass, the original Iron Man skin was exclusive and cannot be brought back. However, the new Iron Man skin will be available in the Item Shop, making Iron Man a regular character in Fortnite’s rotation.

The new Iron Man skin has been officially announced, appearing in a teaser image for an upcoming Marvel-focused Limited Time Mode. This mode will feature Marvel Mythics from this season and the past, with Doom leading one team and a new Iron Man representing the other.
The design of the new Iron Man skin is based on the character’s appearance in a Marvel film, named Iron Man Mark 45. Scheduled for release in the Fortnite Item Shop around September 17th, the skin will coincide with a Fortnite update containing new Iron Man content.
