Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. In this game, you need to categorize a pool of 16 words into four secret groups by identifying how the words relate to each other. The puzzle resets every night at midnight with varying levels of difficulty. Similar to Wordle, you can track your winning streak and compare scores with friends.
If you’re struggling with today’s Connections puzzle, check out our tips and hints below. And if you’re still stuck, we’ll reveal today’s answers at the end.
In Connections, you’ll see a grid of 16 words, and your goal is to organize them into four sets of four by identifying the connections between them. These connections could relate to various themes like video game franchises, book series sequels, shades of red, or chain restaurant names.
Some words may fit multiple themes, but only one answer is correct. You can shuffle the word grid to help visualize potential connections. Each group is color-coded from easier (yellow) to more challenging (purple).
Select four words and submit your answer. If correct, the words will be removed and the connecting theme revealed. Guess incorrectly, and it counts as a mistake. You have four chances before the game ends.
