Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. Challenge yourself to categorize a pool of 16 words into four secret groups by deciphering their relationships. The puzzle resets daily at midnight and offers a range of difficulty levels. Just like Wordle, you can track your winning streak and compete with friends.
If you’re stuck on today’s Connections puzzle, check out our tips and hints below. If you still can’t solve it, we’ll reveal the answers at the end.
How to play Connections
In Connections, you’ll see a grid with 16 words, and your task is to organize them into four sets of four by identifying the connections between them. These sets can involve concepts like video game franchises, book series sequels, shades of red, or chain restaurant names.
While some words may seem to fit multiple themes, only one answer is correct. You can shuffle and rearrange the words to uncover potential connections.
Each group is color-coded, with yellow being the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple.
Select four words and click Submit. If correct, the words will be removed, revealing the connecting theme. An incorrect guess counts as a mistake, with a limit of four available mistakes.
