The Apple Store is currently offline in preparation for the highly-anticipated “It’s Glowtime” event. While you can still view products like the iPhone 15 Pro series and Apple Watch Series 9 on the site, they are no longer available for purchase. These items are expected to be replaced by new products, which will soon be open for preorders.
Instead of a “Buy” button, you will see a message that reads, “Be right back. We’re making updates to the Apple Store. Check back soon.”
The major event from Apple will kick off at 10 a.m. PT and will unveil the new iPhone 16 series, Apple Watch Series 10, and possibly some new iPads. Additionally, more details about the release dates for iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and watchOS 11 are anticipated to be revealed during the event.
It is a usual practice for Apple to close its online store ahead of any major event. Once the event concludes, the store typically goes back online with the latest products available for purchase.
At the event, Apple is likely to announce the launch of the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Max. Though there is a slim chance of a new iPhone SE reveal this time. While the Apple Watch Series 10 debut is expected, the reveal of a new Apple Watch Ultra is less likely. The event may also bring the introduction of a next-generation iPad, iPad mini, AirPods, and AirPods Max.
You can catch the event live on the Apple website, Apple TV, YouTube, and X (formerly Twitter). If you miss the live stream, you can still watch it later on these platforms.
