Withings is once again setting the trend in stylish smartwatch design with the introduction of the ScanWatch Nova Brilliant. Building on the technology of its ScanWatch 2 and ScanWatch Nova, the Brilliant model offers a fresh and luxurious look that caters to those seeking a smartwatch with a more classic design.
The 39mm stainless steel case is available in two finishes – silver and a unique silver and gold bicolor option. The silver model features a titanium bezel, while both models boast an elegant fluted edge, giving the Brilliant a more refined appearance compared to the sporty Nova design.
Featuring a sapphire crystal covering the dial and screen, the box-shaped design of the Brilliant elevates it above the bezel by a few millimeters. Both models come with a stylish five-link bracelet, reminiscent of Rolex’s Jubilee style, ensuring a comfortable and lightweight feel on the wrist. Additionally, a rubber strap is included for more active pursuits.
The technical capabilities mirror those of the ScanWatch 2, offering features such as heart rate monitoring, electrocardiogram (ECG), blood oxygen levels, and body temperature tracking. The OLED screen displays data and notifications, while the battery can last up to 30 days based on usage. The Withings app is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
Alongside the ScanWatch Nova Brilliant, Withings has introduced a new feature called Cardio Check-Up, initially available in the U.K., France, and Germany. This service offers a clinical heart health review by certified cardiologists within 24 hours of a request, based on ScanWatch data. Up to four checks can be conducted annually, with Cardio Check-Up included in the Withings+ subscription. The feature is expected to launch in the U.S. at a later date.
The Withings ScanWatch Nova Brilliant is set for release in November 2024 with a retail price of $600.
