Heroic Penalized for Snap Tap Usage
Following the first map of the Heroic vs. NIP matchup, a delay raised suspicions among viewers. ESL later confirmed that a Heroic player was using Snap Tap, a banned technology known for improving counter-strafing accuracy. The identity of the player using Snap Tap remains unknown, as the feature is exclusive to select Razer Huntsman V3 models.
This incident marks the first significant involvement of Snap Tap, resulting in NIP being awarded the map win over Heroic with a score of 13:10.
