Sony, Sennheiser, Bose, Bowers & Wilkins, Master & Dynamic, and Focal are well-known for their high-end wireless headphones that attract audiophiles. Noble is joining this league with the release of its first wireless and noise-canceling headphones – the $649 Noble Fokus Apollo, available from September 3.
While Noble may not have the same recognition as other brands, they have been producing high-quality in-ear monitors (IEMs) for over a decade, earning praise from the audiophile community. The Fokus Apollo targets discerning buyers with its unique combination of drivers and wireless hi-res audio codecs.
The Fokus Apollo features a 40mm dynamic driver and a 14.5mm planar magnetic driver in each earcup, combining two technologies for superior audio performance, according to Noble. Dynamic drivers excel in low frequencies, while planar drivers offer clarity in higher frequencies, creating a unique audio experience.
To optimize the performance of the drivers, the Fokus Apollo supports high-quality codecs like LDAC and aptX HD for Android users and AAC for iPhone users in wireless mode. The headphones also offer noise-canceling, transparency modes, and a boom mic accessory for voice calls.
With Bluetooth Multipoint compatibility and EQ adjustments through the Noble Fokus app, users can easily manage the headphones. Noble promises impressive battery life, providing up to 60 hours of listening time with ANC on and 80 hours with ANC off.
The Fokus Apollo features premium materials like an anodized aluminum frame, Alcantara headband, and replaceable protein leather earpads, making them a luxurious choice for audio enthusiasts.
