If you enjoy simulation, strategy games, or driving vehicles, September brings good news with Xbox Game Pass. Xbox has unveiled the games coming to its subscription service in the first half of the month, featuring a focused list catering to specific player preferences.
The standout addition from Xbox is Age of Mythology: Retold, set to debut on September 4. Published by Xbox Game Studios, this real-time strategy game is a day-one release. Developed with input from World’s Edge, known for the Age of Empires series, the game pits mythological figures against each other instead of real-world armies.
Most of the games added to Xbox Game Pass this month revolve around transportation themes, whether intentional or not. Star Trucker immerses players in a sci-fi trucker sim in space, while Riders Republic offers an extreme sports sandbox experience developed by Ubisoft. Train enthusiasts can look forward to playing Train Sim World 5, allowing driving across multiple cities.
