The Entertainment Software Ratings Board recently celebrated its 30th anniversary, making me realize that I’m older than the organization that determines game ratings for my age group. The ESRB even released a catchy song to mark the occasion, adding to the realization of my age.
It’s been an eventful week in the gaming world, from Valve’s acknowledgment of the game Deadlock to the unexpected closure of Blue Protocol. Remedy announced collaborations with Annapurna for Control 2 and to expand its universe into TV and movies. Nintendo Direct showcased exciting new releases, including Yakuza Kiwami for the Switch and the intriguing Date Everything visual novel.
As a Star Wars fan, I’m eager to try Star Wars Outlaws, but I’m also looking forward to Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club. Additionally, the latest update on subscription services introduces a variety of new games like Core Keeper and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.
