XR Games announced a collaboration with IO Interactive to launch Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded on the Meta Quest 3. This new version of the stealth title has been rebuilt for VR with enhanced features and improvements, including a new UI and better controls. The game will be available exclusively on the Meta Quest 3 starting September 5th.
Hitman 3 initially received a VR mode shortly after its launch, but Reloaded is a new version designed to address criticisms of the original control schemes. In this updated version, Agent 47 has smoother movements, a revamped interface, and the ability to dual-wield weapons. The game also features a distinct art style compared to the original Hitman 3.
XR Games first unveiled the Reloaded version in June, initially with a release date set for “Summer 2024.” Bobby Thandi, CEO of XR Games, expressed excitement about the release, stating, “It’s finally time for players to experience an untethered HITMAN experience. We’re thrilled to announce the release date, and can’t wait for players to get their hands on HITMAN 3 VR: Reloaded when it launches on September 5th. The wait is almost over!”
Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded is currently available for pre-order on the Meta Horizon store.
