Google has launched the third edition of its Indie Games Fund to assist independent developers and studios in Latin America.
Selected companies will receive $2 million (R$11 million) along with support to help small game studios in the region.
All indie game developers who have released a game on Google Play, PC, or console are eligible to apply. Recipients will receive between $150,000 and $200,000 to enhance their game.

“This year, we are investing $2 million (R$11 million) in the local gaming industry. We will select 10 studios from the pool of applicants, providing $200 thousand to each,” stated the head of partnerships at Google Play Latin America in a post.
“We will assist them in launching a game on the Google Play mobile ecosystem or improving an existing product on the platform.”
Developers can review the eligibility criteria and submit their applications on the official website. The deadline for applications is Friday, September 13th, 2024, with priority given to those received by Friday, August 30th, 2024.
