The highly anticipated Jujutsu Kaisen mobile game is expanding internationally with a global release scheduled for the end of 2024.
As the first anniversary of its Japanese debut approaches, developer SumZap and Bilibili have teamed up to bring Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade to a worldwide audience.
Pre-registration is now open for the mobile game on iOS and Android through Bilibili’s website, although there has been no confirmation yet on whether the PC version will also be released globally.
Mobile Mastery of Martial Arts
Originating as a manga series, Jujutsu Kaisen quickly became a popular franchise in Japan since its debut in magazines in 2018 and subsequent anime adaptation in 2020. The release of Phantom Parade as a free-to-play mobile game in 2021 was a natural progression, leading to its launch in Japan last year.
While many Japanese mobile titles often remain within the country’s borders, the decision to bring Phantom Parade to a global audience marks a significant milestone for the game and its fans worldwide.
With the promise of exciting turn-based battles and the opportunity to interact with familiar spirits from the series, the international release of Phantom Parade is eagerly awaited among fans of the franchise.
Various rewards will be offered to players based on the number of pre-registrations, including in-game items and exclusive characters. With the game available in nine different languages, Phantom Parade aims to appeal to a global audience and make a splash in the mobile gaming world.
Considering the massive popularity of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, with over 90 million copies in circulation, the game’s goal of 10 million pre-registrations seems like a reasonable target.
As pre-registration numbers continue to soar in the mobile gaming industry, Phantom Parade is poised to make a significant impact upon its global release, following in the footsteps of major titles from renowned studios like Supercell and HoYoverse.
