Every day, new skins cycle in and out of the Fortnite item shop, with some being more common than others. One skin that has surprisingly been absent from the rotation is the Trench Raider Fortnite skin.
Originally released at the start of Chapter 2, the Trench Raider skin has been notably scarce since its initial appearance. Despite other associated skins making a return, the Trench Raider has been missing for quite some time. Players are left wondering if and when it will make a comeback in the Fortnite Item Shop.

Trench Raider Fortnite Skins
The Trench Raider Fortnite skin was first introduced in the nautical-themed Chapter 2, aligning with the newly added fishing and swimming features in the game. Despite its initial release on November 16th, the skin quickly disappeared and only resurfaced briefly in January 2020 before vanishing once more.
Unlike other rare skins that are usually limited-time offers, the Trench Raider seems to have mysteriously stayed out of the item shop for over 1,600 days. While the skin is part of a set, the Fathoms Deep set, the other items have made multiple returns to the shop, making the absence of the Trench Raider even more puzzling.
With the upcoming return to Fortnite Chapter 2 and the potential release of more Chapter 2 items, fans are hopeful that the Trench Raider Fortnite skin will finally reappear in the item shop during this anticipated period.
