Apple is set to reveal its highly anticipated iPhone 16 lineup on September 9th, with press invites already being sent out for the event. This official announcement comes after earlier reports pointed to a September 10th date.
The event, titled “It’s Glowtime,” will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park at 10 AM PT/ 1 PM ET.
Rumors have been circulating about what the event will showcase, with speculations including larger screens on the Pro models and a new button dedicated to capturing pictures. The new button aims to enhance landscape mode content creation. Additionally, all iPhone 16 models are expected to feature the new Action Button, previously exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro line.
There is a possibility that the event will also introduce the Apple Watch Series 10, rumored to have a larger screen and an upgraded chip for improved performance, along with the potential reveal of new AirPods versions.
The upcoming iPhones are anticipated to support Apple Intelligence, the company’s suite of AI features introduced earlier this year.
Furthermore, Apple is likely to release major operating system updates such as iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS Sequoia, and watchOS 11 shortly after the event.
