Crunchyroll announced today that it is launching two exclusive games to its Game Vault, available to its Mega and Ultimate Fan-tier subscribers. The two new titles, Yuppie Psycho and Ponpu, join the growing games collection and are available to play today, along with One Punch Man: World, which launches on January 31. As with other games in the Vault, users download and play the games on mobile.
Of the two titles, Yuppie Psycho is a survival horror game, and Ponpu is an action puzzler. In addition to the games, Crunchyroll also announced its upcoming Developer Portal for games creators. This tool allows developers to connect with Crunchyroll’s team and submit their titles for consideration as part of the Game Vault.
Terry Li, Crunchyroll’s EVP of Emerging Business and General Manager of Crunchyroll Games, said in a statement, “Crunchyroll Game Vault’s latest titles, coupled with the upcoming One Punch Man: World launch on January 31, mark the beginning of a tremendous year for gaming at Crunchyroll. Throughout 2024, we will work with developers to bring more games to mobile for the first time and bring new features to existing hits.
Crunchyroll announced the Game Vault last November, along with the starting lineup of five games curated for anime fans. Crunchyroll publishes several games, including Street Fighter: Duel and My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero, via Crunchyroll Games, its publishing label.
