For a long time, the only way to check the Fortnite Item Shop was to boot up the game or visit a third-party website. This week, however, we’ve seen the launch of a Fortnite web Item Shop, providing a new way to check on the cosmetics being rotated in and out.
This new site not only allows you to see what Fortnite skins and emotes are in the shop when you’re not playing, but it also functions as an isolated version of the in-game Item Shop. You can log in with your Fortnite account and buy new items directly from the website!
New Fortnite Web Item Shop Launches
Just before the launch of Chapter 5 Season 4, Epic has added a new feature to its website – a web version of the in-game item shop.
This online shop allows you to access the in-game Item Shop tab from anywhere with an internet connection. You can check what’s available in the store on any given day, and also manage your V-Bucks balance and purchase items without needing to open the game.
If you’ve missed out on exclusive items in the past due to not being in-game at the right time, this new web shop ensures you don’t miss out again.
How to Use the New Item Shop
To start using the new web store, follow these simple steps:
- Go to Fortnite.com/shop
- Log in with your Epic account
- Click on an item to view more details
- Click the Buy Button to make a purchase
The appearance and functionality of this web store are identical to what you would encounter on other platforms. It’s a convenient way to purchase skins and keep track of cosmetics, ensuring you don’t miss out on any desirable items that become available!
